Many school kids in different shorts of different colors, including yellow, red and dark blue, not sure about the fabric. Probably cotton in the 60s and 70s (I think partly b&w anyway). And probably also shiny shorts at least in the (late 80s) and 90s (including black, light green and white but longer, modern shorts).

I’m not East German, so I haven’t seen this series then. And I only have seen some few clips online. Pic 1 clip titled/from  22.08.1982. Pic 2 from an unknown date, maybe later.

Rating at least 5 for now.

Comment: Michael McGreevery (I think the older boy Arthur on the right in blue shorts) and Bill Mumy shirtless in swim shorts. Of course these 60s shorts are not really shiny.

I don’t remember the complete movie.

For shorts, rating 3-4 only. Movie maybe higher. I like Billy Mumy.

Comment: Björn Söderbäck and Urban Strand shirtless in 1960s swim shorts. Several good scenes including sitting. Shorts are not shiny. The blue ones appear quite shiny when wet, I think this is Niklas which blonde hair is a bit darker.

This scenes are the best of this series. I don’t like at all the very annoying little girl(s) (rating 1 on my bib overalls blog).

As these shorts aren’t really shiny, I give rating 4-5 for these 1960s shorts. QUite handsome boys, but I prefer the 80s and the US.

I have to recheck this movie/series for other (dry) shorts.

Comment: Next to some Soccer playing teen boys in red and dark blue shorts at the beginning and end, more notable is Martin Dahl Garfalk as main character Otto, shirtless in red, medium brown or orange, wet swim shorts. Also even undressing them (rear view only). Maybe none of these 60s shorts are really shiny.

I’m not sure about the correct color. I remember warmer colors on my TV, even in the woods, more like orange, but might result from his shirt. They are wet anyway.

Nice and awarded coming-of-age movie and like most Skandinavian movies set in or around the 60s. (I wonder why). Some few other funny scenes/scenes of interest (peeing at someone’s door mat, dropping down pants in front of a blind man) but the best is of course the lake scene at around 11 minutes. English title: Cross My Heart and Hope to Die. The German title is even more simple and I often forget it.

Rating 7. The DVD is currently very expensive here and maybe not worth for just this brief scene. 1992 novel “Gutten som ville være en av gutta” by Lars Saabye Christiansen.

Comment: Joseph Mazzello around 14 yo in dark swim shorts, also shirtless and sitting. Also younger Simon and some other teen boys.

Not sure about the fabric. Probably cotton and not really shiny, but sort of if wet.

Best scene sitting at a lake at around 14 minutes.

Some other teen boys swimming indoor at 49 minutes, coming out of the water (rear views only) similar dark blue swim shorts.

2 more swim scenes of Joe at 43 minutes and 1h43.

Also on my bedroom blog rating 3 and on my Pigtails blog rating 7.

Very good movie, handsome actor.
